Petrusich, Yvonne M. (nee Kremski) Found peace on April 3, 2020 at the age of 88. Beloved wife of the late Frank. Loving mother of Lani (Doug) Haag and Mike (Kelli) Petrusich. Proud grandmother of Tyler (Jane) Haag, Mitchell Haag, Stephanie (Jamie) Moldenhauer, Jessica (Jerry) Kruse, Danielle Petrusich, and Nicole (Pat) Wright. Great grandmother of Natalie, Nathan, Maelyn, Mila, Finn, Vince, Emilia and Chloe. Dear sister of Doug (Nettie) Kremski and Marv (Judy) Kremski. Cherished daughter of the late Hildegarde and the late Myron Kremski.Yvonne will also be missed by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. A private entombment was held at St. Adalbert Cemetery. The family will hold a celebration of Yvonne’s life at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital would be appreciated. Yvonne was a 1949 graduate of Pulaski High School where she excelled in math and enjoyed water ballet. This interest carried through her life as she participated in water aerobics at the YMCA which kept her very active in life. Yvonne was a 17-year employee of the United States Post Office where she held the position of time keeper. She enjoyed traveling with the friends she made during her time there. They traveled to countries such as Italy, Ireland, France, and Germany to name a few. Yvonne had many interests throughout her life including sewing, painting, ceramics, genealogy and collecting antiques or as she said later in life, “uncollecting” antiques. She loved a good game of Chinese Checkers … it was tough for any of us to win a game! She was a “ski instructor” and taught her son Mike to ski. Yvonne enjoyed dancing in her younger years and she often talked about her days on the dance floor at the Eagles Ballroom. She learned the hula in Hawaii and would light up each time she was able to dance for her family. It was quite a treat for all of us to watch. Frank and Yvonne loved to entertain their family. We gathered at their home for many of the holidays ... Yvonne even dressing up as Santa when her grandchildren were small. Her specialty desserts where Swedish Coffee Cake and that wonderful Cheese Torte which always topped off the celebrations. We’ll miss you today and always. Love from your family.
