Willliam K. Krause

Krause, William K. Age 78 years, sailed into the sunset on March 13, 2008. Companion of the late Annette McIlhone for over 25 years. Survived by his wife of 30 plus years, Shirley Krause (nee MacDonald). Loving father of Keith Krause (Geraldine Krause), Kathleen (the late Stuart) Sartorius, Kolleen (Jake) Jachim, the late Donald Krause, Mary Krause (Jason Pharris) and Lori Krause (Michael Jones). Further survived by 14 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, Annette’s children Brian (Amy) McIlhone and Colleen (John) DeSantis and her 6 grandchildren, his sister Betty (Thomas) Hill, his brother Kane (the late Patricia) Krause, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Bill was a retired supervisor for the City of Milwaukee Bureau of Municipal Equipment, an avid fisherman and hunter, loved woodworking and a charter member of the Lakeshore Fisherman Sports Club LTD. He served in the Naval Reserves during the Korean Conflict. Bill was known for his ability to take life by the reins and show us all a good time. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends. You could often find him boating, fishing, smoking fish and enjoying life to the fullest. Funeral Service Tuesday, March 18, 2008 at 7pm at the MAX A. SASS & SONS GREENRIDGE CHAPEL. Interment Good Hope Cemetery. Visitation Tuesday 4-7pm at the Funeral Home.
