Preceded in death by his parents Virgil Leroy and Mary Evelyn (nee Arnold) Phillips. Brother of the late Donald Phillips, Virgil Lee (Billie) Phillips and Joyce (Kevin) Murphy. Further survived by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
