William E. Jacobson

Jacobson, William E. Passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family, on May 16, 2010 at the age of 86. Beloved husband of the late Mary (nee Farrell). Loving father of Sandra Jacobson, Susan (Bob) Nelsen and Mari Beth (Tom) Zizzo. Devoted grandpa of Janelle (Matt) Peters, Gina (Joe) Rocha, Nick (Jennifer) Zizzo and Mark Litrenta. Further survived by 7 great-grandchildren; Reilly, Jordan, Macy, Andrew, Nicholas, Taylor and Nathan, 1 sister Gertrude Antholine, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. William was a retired engineer with the Chicago Northwestern Railroad and served in the US Navy during WWII as a Navy Pilot. Visitation on Wednesday, May 19, 2010 from 11am to 12Noon at the MAX A. SASS & SONS GREENRIDGE CHAPEL. Private family funeral services with interment at Wood National Cemetery.
