William D. Gierach

Passed away Wednesday, December 19, 2018 at the age of 68. Beloved husband of Monica. Further survived by his two children Laura Scott and Kevin Gierach, his grandson Matthew Scott, his 3 brothers, Bob (Judy) Gierach, Tom (Theresa) Gierach and Jim (Suzanne) Gierach, his 3 sisters Lynn (Ron) Coleman, Anita (Dave) Kroening and Patty (Mark) Weyenberg. Bill graduated UW Platteville in 1973 with a Math degree with Computer Science minor. He was a member of the Jazz, Marching and Concert bands. He was an avid member of 3 computer user groups and enjoyed 2 Sheepshead card clubs and also a charter member of the Marine Bank Memorial Sheepshead Club. Bill was a volunteer to the FIRST Robotics community. He was his wife's personal handbell "Roadie" and huge supporter of the St. Alphonsus Handbell Choir. An avid sci-fi fan and "original" Trekkie and faithful sports fan for the Brewers and Packers. Visitation at the Max A. Sass & Sons Greenridge Chapel on Wednesday, December 26 from 10:30 - 11:30 AM.
