William Michael Gebhard,
Age 69, of Milwaukee, passed away on January 25, 2023. He was born on June 24, 1953, in El Toro, Ca, the son of William and Mary Celine (Multhauf) Gebhard. William grew up in Milwaukee and graduated from Bay View High School in 1972. He continued to establish his roots in the Milwaukee area with family and friends. William worked hard at the Falk Corporation for 37 years. He also had a passion for racing, in which he enjoyed watching Nascar and Indy car races and collecting model cars of all kinds. He was able to live out this passion by being able to work for many years, following in his father’s footsteps, at the Milwaukee Mile Race track in West Allis, WI which gave him the opportunity to associate with many race car drivers. He also had a passion for following Wisconsin college and professional sports teams, even though it was his doing that his son is a Chicago Bears fan. William is survived by his wife, Linda; loving daughter, Heather Gebhard (Mike Gallun); beloved son, William J (Melissa) Gebhard; beloved son, Michael Gebhard; step father of Jay (Erin) Glodoski, Todd (Sara) Glodoski and Jesse (Angela) Glodoski. Brother of Mark (Patti) Gebhard; Richard (Karen) Gebhard; Deborah (the late Ron Bober and Greg (Lisa) Gebhard. Brother-in-law of Pat, Darryl, Joyce (Dave), John, Tom (Kelly) and Kevin (Amy). Dear grandchildren, Danielle Tylman-Gebhard, Liam Gebhard, Greyson Gebhard; Jessica, Dylan, Noah, Nickolas, Hailey and Kamden, and many special friends and extended family members. He is preceded in death by his parents, William and Mary Celine and brother-in-law Ronald Bober.
A celebration of life will be held on February 18, 2023 at THE CHURCH OF ST. AUGUSTINE OF HIPPO, 2530 S. Howell Ave. in Milwaukee with visitation from 11-12pm and a service starting at 12pm. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the American Heart Association in memory of Bill.
The family extends a special thanks to everyone for all the care, compassion and support given to William over the past few years.
