William ''Big Daddy'' Brushwood

March 4, 1931 — July 2, 2006

Age 75 passed away on July 1, 2006. Beloved husband of 54 years to Bonnie (Nee Everett). Loving ''Big Daddy'' of William (Amy) Brushwood , Barbara Acker and friend Harold. Loving Grandpa of William (Carrie) Brushwood, Taylor, Mitchell and Sarah. Beloved brother of Charles Brushwood. Further survived by nieces, nephews other relatives and many friends. ''Big Daddy'' founded the William Brushwood Construction Company in 1950.His son Bill still operates the business today.Big Daddy also owned and operated Sloppy Joe's Tavern on Milwaukee's south side. Bill was a strong advocate for the citizens of Greenfield and worked hard with the Zoning Board of Appeals.His loyalty to his neighbors and community showed while simultaneously working as the President of the Greenfield Chamber of Commerce and the Greenfield Lions Club. The community was honored to receive his talents and contributions for over 45 years.
