William Albert Hester

Hester, William A. "Bill" Dearly beloved husband and best friend of Nancy C. Piper passed away early Thanksgiving morning at age 88. Loving father of Thomas W. (the late Sherry) Hester, Daniel P. (Denise) Hester and Susan J. (Mark) Williams. Proud grandfather of Benjamin and Quinn Hester and Max and Riley Williams. Further survived by his brother Robert Hester. He is preceded in death by his parents William and Justine Hester and his first wife June. Bill was a WWII Veteran who was awarded a Bronze Star for his bravery in action. After finishing college with several degrees he taught children with exceptional needs in Racine and Milwaukee. He retired from the Milwaukee Public Schools in 1985 as an administrator in the Exceptional Education Division. He was a member of Administrator Supervisor Council-ASC, American Legion and Wisconsin Woodworkers Guild. Bill had a lifelong interest in fishing and enjoyed many fishing trips to Northern Wisconsin and Canada with his sons and close friends. Memorials to the Salvation Army or the charity of your choice appreciated. In fulfillment of Bill's wishes no formal services will be held. Bill will be buried at St. Adalbert Cemetery.
