Schattschneider, Wayne E. "Capt. S." "WES" Born to Eternal Life November 24, 2018 at the age of 76. Devoted husband and friend of Barbara (Nee Risch). Proud dad of Debra (Peter) Schmeling and Dawn. Proud grandpa of Benjamin (Kelly) and Jordan Schmeling, Joseph and Makenna Ouellette. Great grandpa of Ryleigh and Reid Schmeling. Brother of Dennis (Janice) Schattschneider. Further survived by his canine companion Willow, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Wayne retired as Captain from the Wisconsin State Fair Park Police Department after 39 years of service. A Memorial visitation will be held at ST. JOHN'S EVANGELICAL LUTHERAN CHURCH (6802 W. Forest Home Ave. Greenfield, WI) on Wednesday December 5, 2018 from 9 AM - 10:45 AM with the Memorial service to begin at 11 AM. Private Interment In lieu of flowers, memorials to Froedtert's Moorland Reserve Cancer Center or St. John's Ev. Lutheran Church would be appreciated. The family extends special gratitude to the caregivers at the Moorland Reserve Cancer Care Center for their compassionate care. A special thank you to Pastor Kom for all his support.
