Atkinson, Warren S. ''Roy'' October 28, 2007, age 77 years. Beloved husband of Dolores (nee Switalski). Loving father of the late Dr. Mark Atkinson, Wendy (Hubert) Freund and Jilayne Tate. Grandpa of Chad (Gail) Freund and Amanda Tate. Further survived by other relatives and friends. Funeral Service Monday Nov. 5, 2007 9:15 AM from the Max A. Sass & Sons Greenridge Chapel to ST. MARY CATHOLIC FAITH COMMUNITY for Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM. Interment St. Adalbert Cemetery. Warren was an active citizen of Greendale since 1958 and was the Past Trustee of several village boards, Green Market, Gazebo Commission, Safety Center Advisory Commission, Jaycees and Rooster Club. Warren is the Executive Committee Chairman of the Greendale American Legion Post 416, and was the Past Commander and Past Firing Squad Captain. He received the 2005 Spirit of Greendale Award by the Greendale Chamber of Commerce. Visitation Sunday 1-4 PM with Prayer Service at 3:30 PM at the Funeral Home.
