Walter V Mendez Jan 27, 1973-Feb 23, 2021 Walter V Mendez left us too soon, on Tuesday, February 23, 2021. He was born to his loving mother Anna Ferlini and late father Cayetano Mendez on January 27, 1973. Beloved husband to Kelly Mendez (Strand) and son-in-law to Orlean and late Dick Strand. He was also a loving brother to Cayetano, Magda, Alex, Victor, Ester & Javier. He is further survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, and friends. While growing up in Costa Rica, he found the passion for playing soccer and watching his favorite team Saprissa. Walter was an overall avid sports fan and especially loved the Green Bay Packers. He had a special place in his heart for his dogs. Walter enjoyed spending time with family and friends who were very dear to him. He enjoyed dancing, Latin music and dining out for his favorite cuisine (seafood). Walter was a dedicated machine operator at Kerry Ingredients in Sturtevant, Wisconsin for 20 years. While Walter loved his country of Costa Rica; he was a proud American citizen. Visitation (1-2pm) followed by a Funeral Service, officiated by Deacon Carlos Cornejo (2-3pm) on Sunday, February 28th at Max A. Sass & Sons Funeral Home & Cremation, 1515 W Oklahoma Ave. Milwaukee, WI.
