Iglinski, Walter Michael Age 85 years. “Wally†left this earth for that big blue lake in the sky on Dec. 31, 2007 to join St. Peter for the greatest fishing jamboree of the hereafter. He was born on July 5, 1922 to Michael and Casimira (nee Cesarz) Iglinski. He was a third generation plastering contractor having retired from Iglinski Inc. in 1984. Wally served with the Marine Corp. during WWII in Numea, New Caledonia in the South Pacific. He married Dorothy (nee Stawicki) on June 15, 1946. He had many hobbies - fishing, gardening, traveling, and, enjoyed working on his small wood projects. As a youngster he also enjoyed raising pigeons. Wally is survived by his loving wife Dorothy, his cherished daughters Mary Beth Iglinski and Nancy (Michael) Mueller, and, his two adored grandchildren Andrew and Melissa Mueller. He is further survived by his caring brother Michael (Marge) Iglinski. A sister Phyllis (Michael) Sarnowski, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends also survive. Walter was a member of the George Washington Bay View American Legion Post #180 and Disabled American Veterans Post #1. He was also a member of the Plasterers & Cement Masons Union. Funeral Mass 11:00 AM Mon. Jan. 7, 2008 at OUR LADY QUEEN OF PEACE CATHOLIC CHURCH, 3222 S. 29th St. Entombment St. Adalbert Cemetery. Visitation at the church from 9:30 AM until 10:45 AM.
