Walter J. Jecke

Passed away peacefully on November 2, 2017 at the age of 91. Loving brother of Frances (the late Frederick) Meyer and Alice (the late Elgin) Krueger. Proud uncle of Lynn (James) Heindl, Thomas (Laurie) Krueger, Dianne (Larry) Gross and Ronald (Lynn) Krueger. Dear great-uncle of 6 and great-great uncle of 7. Dearest friend of Kay. Further survived by other relatives and friends. Walter was a proud WWII Veteran and a member of the Franklin Lions Club. Visitation will be held at Max A. Sass & Sons-Mission Hills Chapel on Thursday, Nov. 9 from 4-7PM. Military Honors to follow. Entombment at Mt. Olivet Cemetery on Friday, Nov. 10 at 11AM. Please meet at the cemetery (Morgan Ave. entrance). In lieu of flowers, memorials appreciated to the Stars and Stripes Honor Flight (starsandstripeshonorflight.org).
