Walter A. Bolek

Bolek, Walter A. "Wally" Passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 31, 2010 at the age of 87. Son of the late Joseph and Francis(nee Bilski). He attended the Norway, MI High School, graduating in 1941. He is survived by his dear wife of 65 years, Stella (nee Kososki); daughters Christine (Douglas) Shuit and Pam (Randy) Sliga; and grandchildren Joel (Christy) Sliga, Julie Sliga, Jonathan Schuit and Jacqueline (Nate) Duszynski. Proud Papa of Ty and Killian Sliga, Matthew and Andrew Duszynski. Further survived by his brother Edward Bolek and sister Lorraine (Clarence) DeBakker. Preceded in death by siblings John, Frank, Michael and Louis Bolek; John, Charles, Walter, Albert, Frank, Catherine, Victoria and Mary Rysiewicz; and his step-mother Pauline. Further survived by other relatives and friends. Wally served in the Army Air Force in WWII. Visitation at St. Roman Catholic Church, 1810 W. Bolivar Ave., on Friday, November 5 from 10-11:15am. Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30am. Entombment at Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
