Downey, Wade T. "Tom" Born to Eternal Life May 16, 2009 at the age of 78 years. Beloved husband of Marilyn Downey (Nee Kurtz). Loving father "Daddy" of Charlene Downey, Donna Szweda (Tom Loman), Michael (Sharon) Downey, Carla Krueger and Shari Slamka. Grandfather of 11 and Great-Grandfather of 20. Brother of Lillian (Sherman) Howard of Louisville, Kentucky. Brother in law of Nancy (the late Dennis) Kruschke. Further survived by nieces, nephews other relatives and friends. Visitation at the MAX A. SASS & SONS GREENRIDGE CHAPEL on Tuesday May 19, 2009 from 4-8 PM with the Funeral Service at 7:00 PM. Family and friends please meet at St. Adalbert Cemetery (3801 S. 6th St) on Wednesday May 20th at 10:45 AM for the Committal service and Military Honors at 11 AM. In lieu of flowers memorials to the American Heart Association or the American Cancer Society would be appreciated.
