Virginia Cook was called the night of December 20, 2022. She just celebrated her 83rd birthday on November 24th .
She was a daughter, mother, grandmother and a great-grandmother. There was nothing traditional about her. She was a storyteller, a slow eater and a “stinker” at times.
Everyone’s name had a song and lullabies made you laugh instead of fall asleep. She stayed up late and was a frequent flyer
with “QVC.” She loved old movies and always paid extra for all the “good channels.”
She started the day with tea and toast, and it wouldn’t be Virginia if it didn’t have to be re-heated at least a couple of times.
She had a sharp memory, all the way through. Anything that was ever gifted to her, she could tell you who gave it to her and when. If you laughed at something she said, she would repeat it just so you laughed again. (Swear words were always the funniest)
The family lost someone they loved dearly, and QVC lost their best customer. She absolutely loved angels and now, she is one. She will forever be missed and, as she often would say to all of us, we’ll always be thinking of her, too.
Visitation will be held at Max A Sass & Sons, 1515 W Oklahoma ave. Milwaukee, WI 53215, On Saturday January 7th, 2023, from 11 am til time of service at 1:00pm.
