Kalman, Vicki (nee Hoffman) Passed away on January 19, 2017 at the age of 69. Loving wife of Jack Kalman. Cherished mother of John and Jodi (Pat) Easterlin. Proud grandmother of Jordan and Jaxson. Dear cousin of Bette Jane Rodriguez and Thomas (Rene) Tarbert. Further survived by many close friends and colleagues at South Division High School and the Hmong American Peace Academy (HAPA). Visitation will be held on Wednesday January 25, 2017 from 9-10:45 am with a service at 11 am at St. Alphonsus Church (6060 W. Loomis Rd., Greendale). Vicki taught at South Division High School for 35 years and spent her last five years as Coordinator at HAPA. Her personal drive, commitment to this community and can do spirit went beyond the classroom. Vicki spent endless hours working with Junior Achievement of Milwaukee and Dry Hootch Veterans Association, to name a few. Her greatest love was coordinating the Annual Student Coat Drive at HAPA. Vicki received a multitude of awards for her accomplishments over her career. One award that she was particularly proud of, was being named Hispanic Chamber of Commerce Woman of the Year. The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to the staff at West Allis Memorial Hospital, especially Kathy and Rachel in the Intensive Care Unit, for all the loving care. In lieu of flowers, memorials appreciated.
