Ellestad, Vernon L. Joined his beloved wife, Irene, and great grandson, Houston, in Heaven on December 16, 2011 at the age of 87. Loving dad of Cheryl (Al) Schlie and Bob (Katie) Ellestad. Proud grandpa of Brian (Amy) Schlie, Jenny (Chris) Reed and Morgan, Julia and Jacob Ellestad. Great grandpa of Tucker, Kylie Ray and Brooke Schlie. Mass of Christian Burial Tuesday 12 noon at St. Martin of Tours Catholic Church (7963 S. 116th St., Franklin). Visitation Tuesday 10-11:45 am at the church. Interment Ino, Wisconsin. Vernon proudly served his country in the Navy and was a longtime employee of GE Medical Systems. In lieu of flowers, memorials to St. Martin of Tours Church appreciated. Max A.
