XIN CHO PHÉP GIA ĐÌNH KHÔNG NHẬN PHÚNG ĐIẾU
Nghi Nguyen Tran, a cherished husband, father, grandfather, passed peacefully on September 29, 2024. Born on October 10, 1939, in the serene village of Xuan My, Quang Tri, Vietnam, Nghi's journey of 84 years was marked by resilience, wisdom, and a deep-seated passion for life and peace.
Nghi's early years in Vietnam were filled with the rich cultural heritage of his homeland. His thirst for knowledge led him to pursue higher education, where he cultivated a love for literature and the arts. After college, he served honorably as an intelligence officer of the old Republic of Vietnam, a period that shaped his enduring strength of character.
In search of a brighter future, Nghi made the bold move to Greenfield, Wisconsin, where he became an esteemed member of the community. His life in the United States was one of dedication—to his family, his work, and to the values he held dear. Nghi's legacy is carried on by his beloved wife, Thu Nguyen, and six children: Truong Tran, Thuy Tran, Trang Tran, Duyen Tran, Phu Tran, and Diep Tran.
Nghi's life was a testament to the power of love and the importance of God and family. He and Thu built a home filled with warmth, laughter and faith. They instilled in their children the importance of family and placed God in the center of their lives. His love for knowledge and literature was not only a personal refuge but also a gift he shared with his children, instilling in them the same appreciation for constant learning and growth.
Those who knew Nghi will remember him as a man of great integrity and kindness. His advice was sought by many, for he possessed a rare clarity of thought and a compassionate spirit. His generosity extended beyond his family, touching the lives of friends and strangers alike. Nghi's presence in the community was one of quiet influence, and his commitment to living a life of purpose will not be forgotten.
As we bid farewell to Nghi, we celebrate a life beautifully lived. His wisdom, passion, and generosity have left an indelible mark on all who had the privilege of knowing him. While we mourn the loss of such an extraordinary soul, we take solace in the knowledge that his spirit lives on through the lives he touched and the love he shared.
A life so richly lived deserves to be beautifully remembered. We honor Nghi's journey—a tapestry woven through the years with threads of courage, love, and an unwavering zest for life. As we reflect on the chapters of his story, we are reminded that the essence of a man is not in the magnitude of his public achievements, but in the quiet integrity of his heart and the legacy he leaves behind.
Nghi Nguyen Tran, your memory will forever be a guiding light to us all. May you rest in eternal peace with our Heavenly Father, knowing that your life was a masterpiece of your own making, cherished by your family, respected by your peers, and celebrated by all who knew you.
