Timothy P. Madenwald Tim “Bird” Madenwald passed peacefully November 24, 2021 at the age of 66. Loving father of Megan (Travis) Hansen. Cherished grandpa of Kelly Rae. Dear brother of Lizabeth (Mark Watman), Joel (Kappy), Mary (the late Jim Stein), Patricia (Grant), Kent Jr. (Andrea) and Sarah. Adored boyfriend of Rosemary. Preceded in death by his father Kent and mother Ann Monroe and brother Miles. Further survived by nieces and nephews, other loved relatives, and many friends. Tim was born in Racine, WI. His family grew up traveling across the country in their bus. In 1973, he graduated from Wesclin High in New Baden, IL. He had an early interest in motorcycles, mechanics and skiing. Tim and family moved to South Milwaukee in 1973. He worked at Ladish for over a decade. In 1989 he obtained his degree from MATC to become an appliance repairman. He worked at Teleview Appliance from 1990-91. He started his own appliance repair business in 1992, and operated until his passing. Tim was the “go to” guy for appliance repair in Milwaukee’s south suburbs. All his customers loved him. He was helpful, kind and generous to everyone, oftentimes not charging seniors for repairs. Even when too weak to go on service calls, he would troubleshoot over the phone to help the customer. Tim was married to Janet Kitzrow from 1989 to 1993. In 1990, Tim and Jan had their only daughter, Megan Ann. Tim was a wonderful, fun father. Tim and Megan frequently rode their bikes to Lake Michigan, went snowmobiling, swimming, and running. They ran many 5K and half marathons together. In 2019, Tim became a grandpa to a baby girl, Kelly Rae. His fatherly advice, dad jokes, and silly grandpa faces will be deeply missed. Special thanks to Tim’s “angel on earth” Rosemary Wisnewski. She was by his side throughout this journey, motivating him, encouraging him, advocating for him and everything in between. The family is indebted to Rosemary for all the love she showed Tim these past three years. Tim’s family would also like to recognize and thank all the blood/platelet donors in Southeastern Wisconsin. The generosity of these donors allowed Tim to prolong his life and make special memories with his granddaughter Kelly.
