Tia Lynn Rhode (née Neff), 56, passed away on March 8, 2025. Born in West Allis, Wisconsin, Tia dedicated her life to helping others. She was passionate about her career as an Occupational Therapist and Supervisor of Rehab Services at Columbia St. Mary’s, where she cared deeply for her patients and made a lasting impact on those she worked with.
Tia is survived by her beloved wife, Diane; her amazing daughter, Sarah; son-in-law, Darin; and her cherished granddaughters, Jocelynn, Willow, and Delainey. She also leaves behind her sister, Kim Ehlert (Gregg), and her beloved father, John Neff. Tia was loved by her in-laws (James and Sharon Rhode), sister-in-laws, brother-in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, and friends. She was preceded in death by her mother, Jacalin, sister Theresa, and cherished friends Lynn and Joanne.
Special appreciation to Roger of the Greenfield Home for all of the compassionate care he provided to Tia over the past 5 months.
Those who knew Tia will remember her as kind, funny, full of life, and wonderfully feisty. Even as she bravely fought early-onset Alzheimer’s, her fierce love for her family never wavered. She found joy in the little things—especially in the company of her beloved chihuahuas.
A Celebration of Life will be held in Tia’s honor on April 26, 2025, from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM. Please contact a family member for location details. Attendees are encouraged to wear pink and bling in tribute to Tia’s vibrant spirit. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer’s Association would be appreciated. May her memory bring comfort to those who loved her.
