Thomas "Tom" Anthony Derfus

On Saturday, June 5th 2021, Thomas "Tom" Anthony Derfus was taken into the arms of God after a brief illness. He was 77. Tom was born on December 26th, 1943 in Milwaukee, WI to John & Bernice (nee Berazinske) Derfus. Tom was an avid hunter, fisherman, and loved to restore and race cars. If there was a car show, he was there. Most of his life he worked in the trucking industry. Even after retirement, he could not stay retired. He always needed to stay busy. Tom is survived by his fiance, Josie Heimhardt, his children, Dominic Derfus, Tim & Jolene (nee Radke) Derfus, Tom Derfus, and Laura Derfus as well as many grandchildren, nieces and nephews, and many friends. Tom was preceded in death by his father, John, his mother, Bernice, and his brother, John. Tom was a supporter of several military veteran programs and so we ask that any donations be directed to the military charity of your choice.
