In the early morning hours of December 11, 2021, Thomas Edward Kowalsky, peacefully left this world. He was preceded in death by his Mother, Father, and brother Bob. Tom is survived by his adoring wife of 64 years, Marlene, his loving, sister Joan Yuen, his precious niece, Nanette, several in-laws, and a plethora of nieces and nephews. Tom was born December 19, 1933, in Two Rivers, Wisconsin. He graduated in 1951 from Washington High School, then attended Marquette University. During this time he supported himself by driving a truck for the Milwaukee Journal state circulation. Tom served in the Korean War then worked with the Civil Service. After retiring from the government, with copious awards, he started a company developing software for war games, which he sold to the Air Force. Tom and Marlene traveled to many countries, first because of his job, and then because Marlene owned a successful travel agency. Tom’s biggest passion was sailing. He and his brother Bob would sail Lake Michigan for months at a time. Toms wish was to be cremated, with no funeral service. A Memorial Luncheon to celebrate his life will be held on January 15th, 2022, at That’s Amore in Hales Corners, starting at 12:00.
