Abbott Therese J. (Nee Strauss) After years of battling ovarian cancer, Therese was born to eternal life on June 18, 2016 at the age of 52. Beloved mother of Anthony, Brandon and Jennifer. Loving daughter of Richard J. "Dick" and the late Genevieve Strauss. Dear sister of Geralyn (Glenn) Gerschke, Ann (Dean) Raasch, Joseph (Becky) and Michael Strauss. Further survived by many wonderful nieces, nephews other relatives and friends. Visitation at St. Leonard Catholic Church, W173 S7743 Westwood Dr., Friday, June 24, 12-2:45 pm. Mass of Christian Burial at 3pm. Flowers and contributions greatly appreciated. Therese lit up the world and touched many people, she faced her disease with dignity and courage and will be greatly missed.
