Meller, Sylvia (Nee Kaminski) age 90 years, January 5, 2007. Devoted wife for 63 years of the late Roman J. Meller. Dearest mother of the late Shirley (the late Joe) Rinderle, Ronald (Carol) Meller and Greg (Betsy) Meller. Loving grandma “granny” of Cindy (Steve) Winter, Cathy (Jerry) Mueller, Michele (Rob) Crisp, Steve (Julie) Meller, Darren (Ann) Meller, Michael (Gina) Meller and Cecely Meller. Beloved sister of Evelyn (Ralph) Marsh and Doris Stacy. Sister-in-law of Marion Kaminski. Further survived by 9 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends of the past 90 years. Preceded in death by her parents Stanley and Theresa Kaminski, brothers Gene Kaminski and Eddie Kaminski and brother-in-law Bob Stacy. Sylvia was known for her cooking and baking talents, especially her famous ‘cheesecake’. She worked as a matron for the Milwaukee Police Department and as an aide at the Milwaukee County Mental Facility. She loved to fish and enjoyed the Milwaukee Braves and the Green Bay Packers. Most of all, she loved to dance the polka and listen to music. The family would like to thank the staff at Mitchell Manor of Oak Creek for their loving care during her residency there. Also, we are grateful for the compassionate care of the Odyssey Hospice staff the final days of her journey home. Mom, you will be dearly missed by your family and all those you may have met through your life’s journey of 90 years. Funeral Mass Wednesday, January 10, 2007, 10:30am at SAINT ALEXANDER CHURCH, So. 16th and W. Holt Ave. Entombment St. Adalbert Cemetery. Visitation Wednesday 9:30am to 10:15am at the Church.
