Kurth, Suzanne J. Born in Milwaukee on August 31, 1943 and passed away at St. Luke's Medical Center on November 20, 2008 after a courageous battle with cancer. Preceded in death by her parents, Herbert and Iva (nee Brandenburg) Kurth. Suzanne is survived by her aunt Betty Kurth, cousins, her special friends Elaine Kelly and Beverly and Peter Phillips, and many other good friends. Suzanne spent 37 years in the banking industry as a Certified Financial Planner and senior investment consultant and viewed her clientele as her family. She also was past President of Kiwanis International Cudahy/St. Francis branch. Suzanne was an avid reader, loved music, loved the outdoors and had a great sense of style. She was fondly referred to as the "St. John's" gal. Special thanks to Drs. Jonathan Treisman, Richard Grieshop and Francisco Aquilar, as well as the nursing staff of the 12th floor and 8th floor ICU at St. Luke's Medical Center. In lieu of flowers, Suzanne would have appreciated donations to American Diabetes Society and Ovarian Cancer Research. Memorial Gathering on Monday, November 24, 2008 from 5-8PM at the MAX A. SASS & SONS MISSION HILLS CHAPEL with a Memorial Service at 7PM. Interment at Wisconsin Memorial Park at a later date.
