Susan J Lancaster

Lancaster, Susan Age 69, passed away peacefully on September 5, 2015 after fighting several battles with cancer. Sue is survived by her best friend Linda Hansen. She was an admired sister of John "Jack" (Jody), Kimberly, Theresa (Joe) Miller, Lisa Reed, Lori (Stephen) Purcell, and David (Julia). Supportive and loving aunt of 12 nieces and nephews, and many great-nieces and nephews. Further survived by many other family members and wonderful friends. Preceded in death by her parents Wayne and Frances Lancaster. Sue was a rock that kept her family grounded. Her sense of humor prevailed in her everyday life. Sue loved to travel, was an avid golfer and had an artistic side that showed in her elaborate doodles. She touched so many lives, not just family and friends, but also in her work. A former teacher, Sue retired as Vice President of AlliedBarton Security, Milwaukee division. She loved volunteering at West Allis Memorial Hospital and will be missed by all that knew her. A memorial service will be held on October 17 at Max A. Sass & Sons, 1314 Manitoba Ave in South Milwaukee. Linda's and Sue's families will begin greeting friends at 10:00 a.m. with a memorial service to begin at 12:00 noon. Burial will be in Iowa at a later date.
