Susan A. Binger passed away peacefully in her sleep on Sunday, September 11, 2022, at the age of 66, to join her beloved husband of 38 years, James Binger at Heaven’s gate. Loving mother of Daniel Rosen and the late Rachel Tuck. Dear sister of Debbie Baker-Conner, Rachel Bujanovich-Baker and Mary Beth Hackl-Fleege. Further Survived by grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Susan’s words both spoken and written touched the lives of countless beings. Her knowledge always at the ready. Her passion to battle for civil rights and union advocacy lead her to a position of power as union president of Master Lock. Her determination and will to be heard, paved the path to helping workers and civilians of the masses. Those who heard her speak with eloquence, fierce disposition and unmeasurable intellect felt her words resonate within them. She rallied for countless movements building a lifetime legacy as an impenetrable, independently, sufficient woman.
While Susan spent many years on the front lines demolishing the restraints within the community and corporate world, she too had another passion. Susan selflessly gave her home, poured her time and her strength into raising her grandchildren to strong, engaging members of society. She gave her career and countless years for this without regret or burden, never to be forgotten by those whose life she changed during her working years.
Susan raised two generations of children and welcomed countless more within the safe, warm embrace of her home. Susan was always willing to help those in need no matter the circumstance. Daily she spread her wisdom and love freely while never failing to provide strength for those who could not stand themselves.
Matched with Susan’s internal force was a heart of gold. With a soft natured approach to the young minds of the world, she shared her experiences to lead the succeeding generations on a path of success. Her positive impact on thousands of lives cannot be measured. Never failing to answer any question with sincere reflection. Her compassion for the lives of animals unwavering. Her family and friends always able to find solace within her company.
Susan was deeply loved by her family and friends, forever respected by members of the community and always left a piece of her wisdom and love with all she encountered. In her final days Susan was surrounded by family and close friends, filled with laughter, memories and support. For all of us honored to know Susan, we share in the sadness that a beautiful soul has left our presence, but we take peace in her going home to her creator.
Susan left her final wish for all who survive her, “All the good things I’ve done, carry them with you.”
