Stefan Balasch

Balasch, Stefan. "Mr. B", "Bista". Age 81. Reunited with his wife and son on Tuesday, December 15, 2015 after a brief illness. Survived by his longtime companion Anna Fischer; children Alfred (Shelley) Balasch, Heide (Scott) Harter, and Peter Balasch; daughter-in-law Cori Balasch; grandchildren Christine (Justin) Mickelson, Jason (Christy) Balasch, and Erik (Matt) Balasch; great-grandchildren Lillian, Penelope, and Casey; sister-in-law Mary Balasch; and many other nieces, nephews, relatives, and dear friends. Preceded in death by his wife Maria, son Stefan, brother Michael Balasch, and sister Rosina (the late Peter) Becker. Steve was a lifetime member of the Milwaukee Sport Club where he was a well-respected coach. He was a devoted family man and a gentle spirit. Steve will be missed by many who were blessed to have called him father, Opa, and friend. Visitation will be from 11-1:00 PM on Monday, December 21, 2015 at Wisconsin Memorial Park- Chapel of the Chimes, 13235 W. Capitol Dr., Milwaukee, WI 53005 with a service to follow at 1:00 PM. Burial will follow funeral services.
