Novey, Stanley F. "Stan" Born September 15, 1917 in Alpha, MI. Entered God's Loving Arms on Friday April 27, 2012 at the age of 94 in Milwaukee, WI. Cherished Husband of the late Verona M (nee Bromund) for 63 years. Devoted dad of Sandra Cozad, Stanley Jr. (Kathy) and Valerie (Rick Nieznanski) Novey. Proud grandpa of Amy (Keith) Weaver, Julie (Greg) Dye, Chris (Allison) Nieznanski, Jon Nieznanski and Caitlin Nieznanski. Brother of Chester Novey. Also loved by other relatives and friends. Preceded in death by his brothers Ernest Novey, Walter Novey, Joe Novey, John Novey, Sisters Mary Meyers and Olga Bjork and parents Sophie and Stanley F. Novey. Visitation at the Max A. Sass & Sons Greenridge Chapel on Wednesday, May 2, from 5-7 PM. Vigil service at 7pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church, 6060 W. Loomis Rd. Greendale, WI 53129, on Thursday, May 3 at 11 am (please meet directly at church). Burial will take place on Saturday May 5 at 11am at Stephenson Township Cemetery in Stephenson, MI. In lieu of flowers memorials appreciated to the Stars and Stripes Honor Flight. Stan proudly served his country in the Army during WWII, military tours in Africa, Sicily and Italy.
