She is lovingly survived by her devoted husband, Stephen, who stood by her side in every chapter of life. A beloved mother, her legacy lives on through her son Troy and stepchildren Brittany, John, and Cody. Sonia's bond with her father-in-law, Dan, whom she affectionately called dad, was a testament to her ability to create deep and meaningful relationships.
Her sister Alicia, along with her sisters-in-law Kim, Wendy, Terry, Kristin (Ken), and brothers-in-law Dan (Ann), Greg (Barb) and Scott (Jean), will cherish the memories of her warmth and kindness. Sonia's playful spirit will be fondly remembered by her many nieces, nephews, other family members, friends, and her cherished fur baby Cora. She was preceded in death by her loving mother Irma, her brother Mario, and her beloved grandma, who all held special places in her heart.

Her love for Christmas was evident as she transformed every room in her home with hand-painted ornaments, creating a festive sanctuary that reflected her passion for life and her love for her family.
