Shirley Ann Sexton March 6,1935-December 26,2020 Shirley Ann Sexton went to her eternal home in Heaven, Saturday, December 26th, 2020, at the age of 85, in Milwaukee, WI., with loved ones by her side. She was born on March 6, 1935 in Sturgeon Bay, WI. to her parents Walter Delwiche and Elsie A. Jones. She grew up in Sturgeon Bay, WI. and attended Sevastopol school in Door County, WI., graduating in 1953. She met and married Theadore James Sexton in Door County on December 18th, 1954. Definition of Shirley’s life is selfless, there was always room for one more at the table, many more children than her own would call her Mom. The value of a dollar was taught to each of us. We all grew up and knew what it meant to work. She worked many years at Mamies Tap making friends of a lifetime, breakfast out with her friends and playing Bingo, and betting on sports teams. Everybody knew once her bet was made, she would take the kitty more times than anyone wanted to admit! She had a love for cats, dogs and feathered friends. Her life was lived simply, because she majored on the things that mattered most to her, family, friends, her job. She loved splitting her time between the big City, and Coloma, WI. “Best of both places”. She is survived by her children: Linda Robinson (Levi) of Cody, WY, Edward Sexton, (Tina) of New Berlin, WI.; Julie Reinert (the late John) of Coloma, WI. Ronald Sexton (Lynn) of Cudahy WI. and a son-in-law Paul Ellis Sr. of Milwaukee, WI. Also many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and beloved friends. Her presence will be missed in our hearts daily. She was preceded in death by her beloved daughters Cheryl Ann Hall of Milwaukee WI. , another daughter Charlene Jean Sexton of Milwaukee, WI. a son-in-law John Reinert, her parents, and many other beloved family members. Celebration of life services are pending for the spring of 2021 in Milwaukee, WI.
