Sherry Foley

Sherry Foley, age 68, of Franklin, Wisconsin, passed away on Monday, September 25, 2017, while on vacation celebrating 25 years of marriage. She was the beloved wife of Michael Foley. Sherry was born in Eau Claire, Wisconsin on January 15, 1949 and grew up in the Milwaukee area. She was preceded in death by her father John Harris, her mother Zelda Harris, her daughter Catina Scharf, and her beloved companion Satie May. Sherry was educated as a physical therapy assistant which she enjoyed for many years helping others. Besides her husband, Mike, Sherry leaves her daughter, Lucinda Udulutch, (grand children Adam, Kaitlyn, and Rebecca), her stepdaughter Jenny Foley-Pitterle with husband Nick Pitterle (grandchildren Camryn and Elliot), and stepson Chris Foley and wife Emily Foley (grand children Emma and Eric). Sherry also leaves behind her siblings Rugena Eades, Barbara Makovic, Christine James, and Gerald Harris along with several nieces and nephews and many close friends. Sherry was an incredible person and devoted her life to her children and grandchildren. She cared for her disabled daughter for 41 years and later extended that love and care to her time as a Special Olympics volunteer later in life. She also enjoyed time with friends and family. Her celebration of life will be at Max A Sass and Sons Mission Hills Chapel, 8910 W Drexel Franklin, WI on October 21, 2017 at 11 am with a short sharing of memories beginning at 12:30.
