Scott Wanty 9/22/1955 to 1/16/2022 Scott Wanty, 66, of Milwaukee, was born to eternal life on 1/16/2022. Son of F Jerry Wanty and the late Beverly Wanty, he passed peacefully in his sleep. Scott is preceded in death by his Wife Theresa Wanty (nee Lund), Mom Beverly Wanty, and Sister Teri Luikonen (nee Wanty). Survived by 3 daughters; Catherine, Amy and Emily; 2 Grandchildren, Lilyana and Samuel; Brother Pat, Kurt and Sister Julie Podjaski (nee Wanty). Sister-in-law Lorrie Wanty, Brother-in-laws Mark Podjaski, and Larry Luikonen, and soon to, be Sister-in-law Julie Miller. He is further survived by many nieces, nephews, other family and many friends. Scott grew up in Milwaukee, graduated from James Madison HS in 1973, and went to MATC to be a Transmission Mechanic. When his health started to deteriorate, he retired and became a DJ, seeking his love of music with his own traveling show. When he had trouble walking, he used his musical talents to entertain. Scott was well known in the Milwaukee and surrounding areas as a Saxophone player and Karaoke singer. He would play with bands at open mic nights in many of the surrounding counties. He loved his family, children and grandchildren. He will be loved, remembered and missed by all who knew him. A celebration of Scott's life will take place at a later date.
