Sara Nicole Luck

Luck, Sara Age 28. Found peace surrounded by her family on November 20, 2010 after a brave and courageous battle with adrenal cancer. Beloved daughter of Robert and Kay Luck. Loving sister of Erin (Luke) Rasmussen. Proud granddaughter of August and Joyce Stolte. Adored niece of Paul and Karen Daugherty. Cherished fiancé of Yves Denton. Also lovingly remembered by countless other relatives and friends. A celebration of Sara’s life will be held on Tuesday November 23, 2010 1 pm at the Max A. Sass & Sons Mission Hills Chapel. Visitation Tuesday 10am-1pm. Interment to follow. Sara was a remarkable young woman who faced the challenges of a very rare cancer with a courage and determination that inspired all who knew her. A 2001 graduate of Franklin High School, Sara attended the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in dietetics in 2005. She became a registered dietitian who lived and worked in Richmond, VA. Special thanks to Sara’s many friends, work associates and all of the medical professionals for their outpouring of compassion and supportive care. If desired memorials in Sara’s name can be sent to the Millie Schembechler Adrenal Cancer Fund at the University of Michigan. Sara, you will live eternally in our hearts. You will be missed but never forgotten. We will love you always. Sara shall remain forever young.
