Salvatore Mingari

Salvatore Mingari Born to Eternal life May 3, 2019 at the age of 91. Beloved husband of the late Calogera (Nee Giordano) Mingari. Loving father of Joseph (Antonia) Mingari, Maria (Salvatore) Purpora and Sandy (Eric) Blixt. Cherished Nonno of Carolyn (Jacob) Bronikowski, Francesco, Steven, Ann, Salvatore, Samantha, Josephine and Salvatore. Loving brother of Santa (Giovanni) Corriere. Also loved by brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, and other family and friends. Salvatore immigrated to the United States from Sicily in 1966. His wife and three small children joined him 6 months later. Through the years he worked hard with his wife to provide for his family. He was an avid gardener who enjoyed being outdoors, and a wonderful cook. Salvatore suffered from heart disease for many years, with his overall health declining this year. He died peacefully surrounded by his loving family. The Family extends a special thank you to everyone who kept Salvatore in their daily thoughts and prayers. A visitation will be held at the MAX A. SASS & SONS MISSION HILLS CHAPEL, Franklin, WI. on Friday May 17, 2019 from 5-7 PM with a prayer service at 7 PM. A further visitation will be held at ST. CHARLES BORROMEO PARISH (5571 S. Marilyn St. Milw. WI.) on Saturday May 18th from 10 - 10:45 AM with the funeral mass to begin at 11 AM. Entombment Mt. Olivet Cemetery. He will always be loved, remembered and missed.
