Shaffer, Russell H. Entered into Eternal Life on Friday, February 13, 2009 at the age of 86. Preceded in death by his former wife Esther and his dearest friend Eleanor Heindel. Dear father of Allen(Diana) and Mary(Jeff)Kowalinski. Loving grandfather of Robert and Paul Shaffer and Nathan(Brandi), Rebecca and Amanda Kowalinski. Proud great-grandfather of Ethan Kowalinski. Preceded in death by his brother Ken. Further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Russell was an Elder at Trinity Ev. Lutheran Church for many years. Visitation at the Max A. Sass & Sons Greenridge Chapel on Tuesday, February 17 from 3-6:30 PM. Funeral Service at 6:30 PM. Private interment.
