Russell F. Kouchich

Russell F. Kouchich Russ was a devoted husband, father, and tireless laborer. He passed on the morning of November 11, 2021, shortly after celebrating his 91st birthday. Russ was born to Frank M. and Emma (nee Dragon) on November 3, 1930 and was baptized at and was a lifelong member of St. John the Evangelist Church. He was a member of the Slovenian fraternal organization SNPJ Badger Lodge 584. After high school, he worked for Harnischfeger for 38 years starting as a skilled machinist and ultimately becoming the plant manager and retiring as head of international sales where he traveled the globe. A skilled carpenter he built both of his homes. Russ barbecued chicken for church festivals with his brother in law Louis Rebernisek. He especially enjoyed polka and playing pinochle with Jeni, his wife of 55 years. Dear father of Tod (Barbara) and Jay (Cathy). Grandfather of Jenny (Bob) Sczesny and Mike (Brenda) Grube. Great grandfather of Zach and Abbey Sczesny and Kaylee, Jayna and Leanne Grube. Further survived by other family and friends. Preceded in death by his beloved wife Jeni (nee Rebernisek), parents, brother Ray and sister Shirley Zepezauer. Private services held, no flowers please.
