Russell Anthony Dohr

Dohr, Russell A. Passed away on May 18, 2006 at the age of 83. Preceded in death by his loving wife Lois (Nee Boutin). Beloved father of MaryKay(Robert) Aprison, Dr. Ellen(Dr. Scott Loveridge) Dohr, Lauren(Maureen Kenny) and Russell J. (Jill) Dohr. Russ carried a special place in his heart for his beloved grandchildren Evan, Jennifer, Melissa, Whitney, Adam and Alexandra. He was the fond brother Carl(Judy) Dohr, Rita (the late Bert)Veerkamp, Paul(Ellie) Dohr and Marjorie (the late Jack) Palmer. Further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Preceded in death by one brother Robert and 3 sisters Althea, Delores and Lilas. Russell spent his youth in Appleton and enlisted with the United States Air Corps in 1942 serving in Italy. He received his degree in Business Accounting in 1948 from Marquette University as a member of Delta Sigma Pi. His accounting career was spent with Inryco. Russell held the office of Vice President of the Milwaukee Chapter of Internal Auditors. He was an original member of Our Lady of Lourdes Parish serving as a board member, singing with the Resurrection Choir and a member of the Holy Name Society. For many years Russell distributed communion to residents at Mount Carmel. The family wishes memorial contributions to the American Cancer Society
