Wippert, Roy R., Sr. Resident of Harmony in Franklin, formerly of Rhinelander and Milwaukee. Age 94. Joined his beloved wife Florence in Eternal Life on July 15, 2009. Dear father of Kathleen(Willi)Sauer, Roy Jr. and Flo(Gregory) Zydowicz. Step-father of Rita(Kenneth)Tehan. Grandfather of Eric Sauer, Tina(Robert)Moreno, Lisa(Chris Anquoe) and Josh Wippert, Kenneth, Timothy(Sharon), Rene and Jeff Tehan. Preceded in death by 1 sister and 6 brothers. Survived by 1 brother, Lester, nieces, nephews, great-grandchildren and other relatives and friends. Roy served his country during WWII in the U.S. Navy, was an active member of the Rhinelander VFW and was a retiree of Miller Brewing Co. Visitation at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church, 6060 W. Loomis Rd., on Monday, July 20 from 3-5:45 PM. Mass of Christian Burial at 6 PM. Entombment at St. Adalbert Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the American Cancer Society or the American Heart Association, appreciated.
