In loving memory of Rosemarie Queipo Flores, a pillar of strength and compassion, whose legacy will forever grace our hearts. Rosemarie was born on January 22, 1945, in Catbalogan, Samar, Philippines, and peacefully departed this world on July 14, 2024, at Aurora St. Luke's Medical Center in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA, at the age of 79.
In her final moments, she found solace in the comforting voices of her four beloved children, witnessing their reunion filled with love and grace before peacefully departing to reunite with her father Manuel, her mother Pacita, her beloved husband LGen. Guillermo Flores, and a host of cherished departed loved ones.
Rosemarie leaves behind a tapestry of love and memories carried by her children: Jay, Gemma, Margarita "Bambi," and Jaime "Beaver," and her children-in-law Shirleen "Bong," Louie, and Dax. The light of her nurturing spirit shone brightest as she embraced her role as a grandmother to Rachel, Joshua, A'isha, Shiloh, and Gianna, infusing their lives with boundless love and wisdom.
With a bachelor's degree in education from Lourdes College in Cagayan de Oro City, Rosemarie's passion for shaping young minds flourished in the classroom as a dedicated fourth-grade teacher. However, her most cherished calling was found in cultivating a sanctuary of love and support as a devoted wife and mother, cherishing her children and grandchildren as the true treasures of her life.
A devout Catholic all her life, Rosemarie's faith in the Blessed Virgin Mary and the power of the Rosary was a testament to her unwavering devotion. She dedicated countless hours to serving her faith community, charitable causes, and apostolic endeavors, radiating light and hope to those in need.
Rosemarie's essence, marked by her gentle smile, serenity, and hospitality, resonated deeply with all who crossed her path. From her seven siblings to numerous nieces, nephews, and countless souls who found solace in her nurturing care, she was a beacon of warmth and love, offering refuge and unwavering support to all in need.
The void left by Rosemarie's physical absence will be deeply felt, but her legacy of love, kindness, and selflessness will endure in the hearts of those fortunate enough to have known her. May her soul find serenity in the comforting embrace of eternal peace.
In accordance with her final wishes, visitation and funeral services will be held in the Philippines, where she will be laid to rest at the St. Michael the Archangel Columbarium in Taguig City.
