Rose "Vernie" Schulz

Rose "Vernie" Schulz (Nee Frandsen). Of Greendale, passed away peacefully on October 4, 2018 at the age of 90. Vernie was born to Otis and Grace (nee Lang) Frandsen on May 24, 1928 in NorthDakota. Shortly thereafter, the family moved to Eau Claire, WI. On March 21, 1951 she married Clayton Sidney and they made their home in Milwaukee. He preceded her in death in 1965. She later married Henry Schulz on July 31, 1972. Vernie was proud of her 20 dedicated years of service to the Medical College of Wisconsin. Vernie was known for her strong faith, love of traveling, spending time with her family and making the holidays extra special for everyone. She was devoted to her “grandsons” Sam and Nathan Kosewski. She is survived by her sister Betty (John) McInnis; brother-in-law Dorvin Johnson; nieces Kate (Doug) Lassek, Carol (Tom) Miller, Michelene Belger, Gail (John) Kennedy, Patti (Tim) Huebner, Sherrie Johnson (Clint Mikkelson), Shelley (Kevin) Kosewski; nephews Alan (Doreen) Johnson, Gary Johnson, Shaun (Pam) McInnis, and Bill (Susan) McInnis. Further survived by many great and great-great nieces and nephews. Vernie is preceded in death by her parents; sisters Lillian (the late Alvin) Reiter and Luella Johnson; niece Connie Brousseau; great-nephews Joel Miller and Tommy Kosewski. We were all so blessed to have this loving, generous, kind soul in our lives. “You are now forever with Momma and Daddy.” A private Celebration of Vernie’s Life will be held in Eau Claire, WI at a later date.
