Rose Marie Hernet

Rose Marie Hernet was born to eternal life on Tuesday, May 16, 2017 at the age of 82. She is survived by her sister and best friend, Elizabeth Jane, as well as other family and friends who loved her dearly. Rose was preceded in death by her parents, Anthony and Elizabeth. Rose graduated from Milwaukee Girls Tech and Misericordia School of Nursing. She was a registered nurse and supervisor at the Medical Surgical Clinic for over 30 years. She was respected and revered by colleagues, doctors, and patients. Rose enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She loved to travel, loved to read, and was always ready to help anyone in need. Visitation at Max Sass Funeral Home, Oklahoma Ave. Chapel, on Sunday, May 21, 4-7 pm. Vigil service 7 pm. and a brief visitation at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, 3100 W. Parnell Ave, on Monday, May 22, 10 am-11 am. Mass of Christian Burial at 11 am. Burial to follow at St. Adalbert Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials appreciated to St. Jude Hospital or St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church.
