Rose C. Cassata

Cassata, Rose C. (nee Spende) Entered Eternal Life joining her loving husband, Jack Cassata, on April 9, 2015 at the age of 92. Lovingly survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. She is preceded in death by her parents Vincent and Anna and siblings Joseph Spende, Anne Spende Rasmussen, Frank Spende, Christine Spende and Christine Spende Stein. Rose was a woman of deep faith. She loved her family and friends, bingo, playing cards and traveling. Rose was truly one of a kind. Memorial Gathering will be held on Wednesday, April 15, 2015 at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church (5571 S. Marilyn St.) from 10 AM -11:45 AM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 12 PM. Private interment at Forest Home Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials appreciated to St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church or Southwest Interfaith Program. "Aunt Rose was a character and a half, she is deeply loved and will be missed by all."
