Ronald W. Martinson Greenfield - Sunrise March 17-1934, sunset February 9-2021 at age 86 years old. Loving father of Stephen (Michelle) Martinson and Jennifer Martinson. Dear grandpa to: Mindy, Tyee, Chloé, Brittani, Ashley and Eric. Proud great-grandpa to: Sadie, Chandler, Audrey, Liam and Takotah. He leaves behind his dear brothers David and Lynn Martinson. He was preceded in death by his beautiful wife Patricia, parents Arnold and Opal (Vogel) Martinson, brother Dale Martinson & niece Kimberly Martinson - along with many other dear relatives and friends. Ronald was a gifted pianist and made his career sharing his talent - He led the "Ron Martinson Quartet" in "The Crown Room" at the Pfister Hotel, played at Grenadiers for over 20 years as well as the Third Street Pier and many other venues throughout his years of life. He was a brilliant man, mathematical genius, understood Shakespeare and had a love for mountain climbing - (Mt. Wilbur) & he had a true love for sports! He saw the world in a miraculous way and taught us as kids to see the world that way as well. He showed unconditional love & generosity for his entire family. His loving spirit will live on in our hearts and memories forever. Visitation at the Max A. Sass & Sons Greenridge Chapel on Thursday, February 18 from 4 - 7 PM. Funeral Service at 7 PM.
