Ronald J. Kruk

Ronald Kruk passed away on November 20, 2017 at the age of 81. Beloved husband of Arline (nee Baginski) for 61 years. Survived by his children Michael (Kathy) Kruk, Peter Kruk, Gerianne (Dennis) Kaminski, Thomas (Barbara) Kruk, James (Lisa) Kruk, Paul (Jill) Kruk, Mark (Kristin) Kruk, and the late John Kruk. Proud grandpa to Stephanie, Melissa, Alex, Eric, Jenny, Amanda, Benjamin, Laura, Jamie, Danielle, Nicholas, Austin, Kolby, Rachel, Hannah, Christopher, Daniel, Kyle, Abby, Kaitlyn, Samantha, Ryan, Jeremy, Andrew and Samuel. Further survived by his dear sister Rita (Darrell) Godejohn, 13 great grandchildren, other relatives and friends. Ronald served in the military both active duty and reserves for 30 years and retired as a Master Sargeant. He also worked at Ladish for 33 years as a hammer repairman. He met the love of his life while dancing in the Mazur polish dancers. Ronald also enjoyed woodworking projects and making lawn decorations. He enjoyed being a season ticket holder at the Fireside for many years. In his younger days, he was an usher at church, a scout leader for many years, a referee for volleyball, and umpired recreation league softball games along with high school hard ball games. In the past few years, he took up the hobby of doing paint by number pictures while listening to his favorite kind of music…….polkas. Ronald was a hard working father who sometimes worked 2-3 jobs non stop to help provide for his family. He will be missed by all. Visitation will be held at Max A. Sass & Sons-Mission Hills Chapel on Friday, Nov 24 from 4-7PM. Vigil Service at 7PM. Additional visitation will be held at ST. JAMES CATHOLIC CHURCH (7219 S. 27th St., Franklin) on Sat., Nov 25 from 9-10:15AM. Funeral Mass to follow at 10:30AM. Burial at Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery on Monday, Nov 27 at 11AM. Please meet at the cemetery.
