Ronald J. Goyette Was called to his heavenly home on Thursday, April 28, 2022 at the age of 73. A devoted husband, loving father and wonderful grandfather, Ron centered his life on family and his Catholic faith. A Marine, Ron was proud of his service in the Corps during Vietnam and the Tet Offensive. Critically wounded, he returned home partially blind, enduring a host of internal injuries and an excess of thirty surgeries in his life. He taught us the meaning of courage and the virtue of duty. Ron earned a bachelor’s degree of arts at Marquette University and taught theology in the Milwaukee Archdiocese for 23 years at three different schools. He was admired for his consistent positivity and fortitude by students, friends, colleagues and family. Preceded in death by his mother and father (Virginia and Clarence Goyette) and four brothers, Thomas, James, Michael, and his twin Donald. Ron is survived by his loving wife of 52 years Linda, children David (Leslie), Christine (Greg) Wilson, Jackie (Mark) Neuser, four wonderful grandchildren, Michau (True) Goyette, Isabeau, Elisa and Jocelyn. Also survived by two sisters-in-law Kathleeen and Diane and many friends and family. Visitation at Blessed Sacrament Church (3100 S. 41st St. Milw. WI) on Tuesday May 10, 2022 from 10:30 AM – 12:15 PM with the Funeral Mass to begin at 12:30 PM. Interment to follow at St. Adalbert Cemetery with Military Honors. He has a coffee mug from his career that says “teacher”, and he was truly that.
