Ronald “Ron” Barutha was born June 23, 1943 in South Milwaukee, WI. He entered into eternal life on December 3rd, 2024 at the age 81 after a long, fulfilling life.

Ron is survived by his wife of 40 years, Princess Barutha, his daughter Jeanine Rosewicz (Rob), daughter Michelle Mullins (Dylan), Son Daniel Barutha (Megan), and his 5 beloved granddaughters Kylie, Taisie, Collins, Amelia and Kaia who brought such joy to his life. Ron is also survived by his two sisters, Joanne Gertz and Diane Triumph and his former wife Lois (Dale).

Ron is preceded in death by his father and mother, Frank and Dorothy Barutha, his brother-in-law, Thomas Gertz and brother-in-law, Jim Triumph. Ron attended Bay View schools in his younger years where his love for sports grew into a passion that would carry on throughout his life. As an avid athlete, Ron grew to be a star basketball, baseball and softball player. His fondness for sports and his teammates led him to the Cudahy Boys Club where he was a charter member and affectionately became known as the GOAT of the Boys Club with 6 Championships.

During his time on Earth, Ron was employed with Miller Brewing Company for 37 years where he made lasting friendships. Ron enjoyed vacations in Treasure Island, FL and Eagle River, WI with his family. He loved watching and mentoring his kids participate in sports where he never missed an opportunity to simply play catch in the front yard when asked. Ron always told his children, “I don’t care what you do in life, just choose something that you love and you’ll never work a day in your life.” He never passed up a Friday night fish fry and was a connoisseur of delicious pastries. Ron was a walking sports almanac, knowing sports trivia unlike anyone else. He was an enthusiastic collector of random trinkets, coins, and hotel toiletries. Ron loved his morning game shows, reading the newspaper and affectionately assigning his loved one’s memorable nicknames.

In his later years, Ron found great happiness in spending time with his 5 granddaughters, kissing their photos every morning as he passed them in the hallway of his home. His memory will be kept alive through stories and pictures of his time here on Earth. Private services have been held for close family and friends of the Barutha family.
