Smet, Roland J. "Poady" Born to eternal life on August 31, 2014 at the age of 67. Loving dad of Chad (Colleen) and Matt (Mary). Proud grandpa of Callie, Delaney and Sawyer. Cherished brother of Lester (Vickie), Beverly (Thomas) Duelge and Carol (Sam) Mack. Further survived by many other relatives and friends. Preceded in death by his parents Harry Sr. and Bernice, brothers Harry Jr. and Michael and sister Sheryl. Roland was a retired cement finisher with Local 599. Visitation on Friday, September 5, 2014 at the MAX A. SASS & SONS WESTWOOD CHAPEL from 4 to 8pm. Additional Visitation on Saturday, September 6, 2014 at ST. JOSEPH CATHOLIC CHURCH BIG BEND, S89 W22650 Milwaukee Avenue from 9:30am until the time of the Funeral Mass at 10:30. Entombment and military honors to follow at Mount Olivet Cemetery.
