King, Roger J. Born to Eternal life October 16, 2018 at the age of 84. Loving husband of the late Donna King for 55 wonderful years. Beloved father of Keith (Sandy), Kelly (Michelle), Kerri (Ken) Zimmer, Kevin (Patti) King and Kristin (David) Keeling. Proud grandpa of Austin and Allison King, Yvonne, Damon, Brady, Michaela and Autumn King, Zach and Samantha Zimmer, Kyle and Jacob King, Isabelle, Jenna and Jackson Keeling. Dear brother of Kenneth (Sharon) King. Brother-in-law of Joanne Keller. Preceded in death by his sister Cheryl (Andy) Baumgartner. Further survived by other relatives and friends. Roger was a lifelong resident of Big Bend,WI. Upon graduating from Mukwonago High School, he proudly served in the US Army and was stationed in Germany. After returning, he earned his Bachelor's degree at UW-Platteville. He then began his career at Waukesha State Bank where he worked for 34 years. He was a dedicated member of St. Peters Lutheran Church in Waterford and was very active in the Big Bend/Vernon Lions Club for over 50 years. Roger enjoyed many outdoor activities including fishing, hunting, snowmobiling and gardening. A visitation will be held at the MAX A. SASS & SONS FUNERAL HOME - MUSKEGO, WI on Sunday October 21, 2018 from 2-6 PM. An additional visitation will be held at St. Peters Lutheran Church (145 6th St. Waterford, WI) on Monday from 9:30 - 10:15 with the funeral service to begin at 10:30 AM. Interment Rural Home Cemetery. Memorials to the Wisconsin Lions Camp or St. Peters Lutheran church would be appreciated.
